Helen Bates is Co-Founder and Partner at Human Edge Consulting and a senior learning and transformation leader with over 25 years of global experience. She specialises in the human and cultural dimensions of operational transformation, helping organisations in high-hazard and complex industries build learning cultures, strengthen leadership capability, and embed safer, higher-performing ways of working. Helen has led large-scale learning, organisational development, and change programmes in both international consulting and in-house roles, partnering closely with HSE, Operations, and HR leaders. A passionate advocate for psychological safety and human performance, she is a trusted advisor to senior leaders navigating complex change.
